How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication on iPhone X
Enabling the Two-Factor Authentication is not a rocket science. It involves some simple steps through which you can easily enable this feature for your iPhone.
Step 1: To enable the Two-Factor Authentication, you have to first go to the Settings of your iPhone.
Step 2: Now, simply tap on your name at the top of the main settings page.
Step 3: After this, click on the “Password & Security” settings.
Step 4: Now, you will see the “Two-Factor Authentication“, turn it On.

Step 6: After reading the details, you will be now asked for either use a phone number that Apple has detected as linked to your account, or you can also write any other number. The verification codes will be to you on this number.
Step 7: Now, you have to choose whether you want to receive the Code via text message or an automated phone call. Select the suitable option for you.
Step 8: After this, you’ll be asked to enter the Password for your Apple ID, followed by a six-digit code. Just enter the code and you are done now.

How to Disable Two Factor Authentication
If you want to disable this feature, it is not that simple to do it. You can’t just simply turn off this feature by going to settings of your phone. You have to follow some steps to do this.
Step 1: The first step for disabling the two-factor authentication is to Open your Mac or Windows PC and go to iCloud.com.
Step 2: Now, sign in to your iCloud account using your Apple ID and Password.
Step 3: As you have enabled the two-factor authentication on your device, it will ask you for the six-digit security code. So go back to your iPhone and approve of your login by tapping on “Allow” on the request prompt to get the code.
Step 4: Now with the six-digit verification code with you, go to the iCloud page and type that code there. Now you will see a message will pop up, click on “Trust” on the following prompts to complete your login.
Step 5: After finishing the above step, you will be redirected to the home page of youraccount. Now click on the Settings icon.
Step 6: After this, the settings page will appear. Now, click on the “Manage” (located right under “Apple ID”) near the top of the settings page next to your name. After clicking this, you might be taken to another login page to proceed, so re-enter your Apple ID credentials followed by another six-digit authentication code that you can get off your iPhone as mentioned previously.
Step 7: If not, you will be directed to your account’s information page. Now, on the Manage page, you will see all your personal data. Here you have to click on the “Edit” button on the right side located in the “” tab containing the password, two-factor authentication and trusted phone numbers. Step 8: After heading to the Security page, you will see the security information of your device. Now, go to the two-factor authentication tab and click “Turn Off Two-Factor Authentication” to turn the feature off.
Step 9: After clicking on Turn Off button, a final confirmation prompt will open and you will be asked to create three new security questions before it turns off. Follow the steps and finally click on Done button.
