How to Reset Your iPhone or iPad, Even if it Won’t Boot

Turn On device or Startup

Restore from iTunes
Connect your device to computer or Mc running iTunes. iTunes can download the operating system of the device from apple and reinstall a fresh copy on the device, replacing the device operating system and starting it over from scratch.
Open the iTunes first, ensure that it is the latest version of iTunes. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your PC or Mac computer with the USB cable, unlock your device and tap the “trust” button to trust your computer.
Select your device in the iTunes and click the restore button. It will restore your device with a clean copy of ios operating, removing all the data and replacing the entire processing system.
Restore from Recovery mode
You can use recovery mode to fix your device. Firstly, turn off your device completely. Hold the power button and slide to turn it off. If the device is not responding, hold the power and home buttons at the same time to turn it off.
Connect your device to computer using USB cable. Now press and hold the home button until “connect to iTunes” appears, you will see a connector pointing an iTune icon, now release the button. If you don’t see this screen, try this process again. Ensure that you hold down the home button until the screen appears.
iTunes will detect the device in recovery mode. Click the restore button and it will restore your device’s operating system.
